“If you can trust a puzzle company to make sure every piece is in the box to complete the puzzle, then why can’t you trust God that every piece of your life is there for a reason?”
Author unknown (if you know who said this first, please let me know)
So why is it that we can trust a manufacturing company to include all the puzzle pieces?
Why do we trust a software manufacturer to do what’s right for us?
Why do we trust most restaurants to include all the right ingredients, and none of the wrong ones?
But the God who created the universe, and each of us, and loved us enough to die to save us – the God who knows all things – him we do not trust with the details of our lives.
Is it because we think we can do better? Or we don’t believe he is really there? Or we don’t believe that he is really pursuing our best interest?
If you don’t regularly trust God with the details of your life, why is that? What do you trust more?
