You follow the rules, though it’s never good enough.  You make the required journey. Once you get there, someone says your best lamb is not good enough, so you wait in line to buy one from the priests, which they say is guaranteed to be acceptable to God.

Then you see a prophet who turns everything upside down. The people cheer. The authorities scoff. Who is this man?
